Larson Rides exists to build confident, resilient Alaska youth through structured snowboarding opportunities, mentorship, and community.

The Rail Jam is a welcoming event designed to encourage progression at every level while celebrating sportsmanship and positive challenges.

For this event the terrain park is moving to the bottom of the mountain so families can watch, cheer and participate. Please join us!

WHY IT MATTERS

Larson Rides is a nonprofit created in memory of professional snowboarder Christopher Larson — known for pushing limits, going big, and riding at the edge of his personal best. Snowboarding shaped who he was. Now, we honor Larson by creating opportunities for the next generation to find that same confidence, courage, and joy on the snow.

On the 6th anniversary of his passing, we’re coming together to celebrate the way he lived — fearless, determined, and always progressing.

And we’re doing it the best way we know how…

Larson Rides provides young Alaskans with gear, passes, and lessons through the Grommet Grant — helping kids experience snowboarding, sometimes for the very first time.

Events like the Rail Jam bring our community together to celebrate that mission in action.
